About 3000 jobs on display at the Job Fair in Chisinau
About 3000 jobs, offered by more than 50 employers, were exhibited today at the Job Fair, organized by the General Directorate of Employment of the Chisinau municipality. The job offers cover positions such as managers, programmers, economists, psychologists, police officers, specialists in public institutions, cashiers, cooks, bakers, skilled construction workers and others.
The event was attended by jobseekers, including refugees from Ukraine, who had the opportunity to discuss with employers about working conditions, job duties and the procedure for filling vacancies, as well as to present their CVs and arrange job interviews.
In the same context, 25 educational institutions provided information on vocational training services, including accessible trades and professions for adult training. Young people also had the opportunity to use the Cognitrom Career Planner programme to identify their skills and interests and thus make it easier for them to choose their future profession.
Felicia Bechtoldt, State Secretary at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection: “The Ministry provides subsidies for employers and unemployed people through the National Employment Agency. We also encourage you to take advantage of career guidance activities and vocational training courses. These measures support the efforts of the authorities and make it easier to get people into work.
Raisa Dogaru, Director of the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM): “We thank the employers for accepting our invitation. We also thank the educational institutions for coming with educational offers. ANOFM has a wide range of services aimed at facilitating employment, so we urge you to contact the agency’s territorial subdivisions to receive the necessary support for employment”.
Please note that from 22 to 28 May, ANOFM is organising an online job fair, which you can access at www.e-angajare.md.
